Well it's been almost 2 weeks and unfortunately I (Joe) have to return to work on Tuesday leaving our little man in charge.....Well at least he seems to think so. Life around the house has been rather hectic, I'm not sure how we ever had a hard time with a newborn. Because a newborn is like infinitely easier to handle than a 3 year old. Granted they can't do anything on their own but the first month or so it's all sleeping!
Max is doing a very good job loving his little sister and a very good job ignoring everything mom and dad tell him to do. That being said as usual Steph and I feel we are very lucky to have such a good first child.
I've uploaded all of April's pictures onto my picasa website and will update the slide shows on the blog which will take you there as well. As for the rest of our lives, Steph is doing a very good job on taking care of the new baby while I do my best to keep Max distracted and take care of all those jobs that have been piling up around the house when there was always something better to do.
We're all wishing for the weather to clear so we can get to some baseball games and to the driving range at least 10 times ;)

Layla looks so much like Steph! It's a good thing you have such a good helper man for when you go back to work! Let us know what we can do to help!
Love all the photos! Max and Layla are so cute together. And you're right - Max is such a good brother. And a super soccer player. What a great kid!
